I would like this to be a place where we can share our favorite recipes with each other.
We all have memories connected to food and our times together.

If you have a recipe that your family loves or a recipe that has been passed down in your family, please share it with us! We would love to know the story that goes with it too. That will make it even better!

Clam Chowder

2 cups potatoes, diced (about 3)
1 cup carrots, diced small
1 cup celery, diced small
- Boil veggies and set aside.

1 cup butter 1 cup flour
7 Tbsp. minced fresh onions
- Melt butter and add the flour and onions.
Stir constantly until combined.

8 cups half & half
2 cans minced clams
2/3 tsp. pepper
4 tsp. salt
- Add the half & half and salt & pepper to the butter/flour mixture. Stir lots until thickened.
- Add the veggies and the clams. Heat through and serve.

This is my favorite clam chowder recipe. It always turns out so yummy. If you like the taste, but not the texture of the clams you can blend them in your blender and then add them to the soup! Great tip I learned!
